Megumi Cardona

"You can start being an activist at home”

Visual artist, activist and Colombian creative, she works on the empowerment of groups at risk of social exclusion, through her talent and creativity. Megumi, like 49,000 other Colombians, is a patient of an orphan disease known as Morquio. However, this pathology has never conditioned or limited her decisions and actions when it comes to developing as an individual and an artist. On the contrary it has been one more characteristic of herself that has shaped her personality and own motivation to express her point of view of reality from a visual artist and activist essence.
